“Rich hired me in April of 1983, and the lessons I learned from Rich back in 1983 are still with me today. Rich was my supervisor, my coach and has become a lifelong friend. Rich has molded me into the professional I am today. Rich has the talent and ability to manage people and situations with superior macro-management skills. Rich’s skills are an envy to all who meet him as his ‘big picture’ style is his hallmark. Rich takes on any project with enthusiasm and the perfect blend of leadership, coaching and delegation.

Rich’s style is truly an example in the art of managing people. I have truly been blessed to have met Rich and have had the decades of opportunities to work with him as I have. I am always eager and proud to be on Rich’s team.”

“Richard LeBrun is truly an excellent business coach. Richard has brought keen listening and wise insights to a wide variety of business clients. Rich assists client teams to rapidly and accurately speak and listen to each other to identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in a nonthreatening manner. The end result is that team members engage in powerful discussions that result in coordinated actions to maximize each team’s competitive advantages.

Richard has a very patient manner and meets each team exactly where it is at. That is to say, if a client team is stable and can most benefit from longrange strategic planning and implementation, then that is exactly where he engages with them and that is the direction in which he guides them. Should an organization be more in a state of emergency, Richard helps team members agree on immediate goals and outcomes, prioritize actions and mitigate threats while simultaneously taking advantage of previously unseen opportunities.

It is commonly accepted that change creates opportunity and vice versa. Richard LeBrun empowers his clients to deal powerfully with all of their options and cause change rather than merely responding to circumstances.

One of his greatest strengths is the calm manner in which he facilitates communication amongst team members. Where once there was posturing and lack of direction, Richard is able to elicit cooperation that leads teams to an authentic commitment to a shared future.

In addition to business groups, Richard LeBrun has also helped hundreds of individuals and families through a similar process. He is a unique individual who has gone through his own trials and has learned highly effective ways to get folks to 'the other side.'  Anyone will be well-served to have Richard LeBrun as his or her coach and guide in their journey to achieving their personal and professional goals.”

“I had always been told I was a leader — even while I was young. I always seemed to get what I wanted. I led through fear, intimidation, dishonesty, manipulation and selfishness. I did whatever was necessary to get the results I wanted, at any cost; all the things the world seems to advocate to be a leader. The result was alienation of people I was trying to lead and loss of many friends and relationships. I figured that was okay as long as I got what I wanted. I would just get new teammates, friends and relationships to help me get what I wanted. I ended up broken, hurt and alone.

By chance I applied for and was hired by Rich 25 years ago as a maintenance man and was amazed at his leadership style, so much so that I asked him if he would teach it to me. He did, and what I found was a leadership style that worked. Rich led by humility, honesty, compassion, tolerance, fairness and, mostly, by a servant's attitude. I noticed others as well as myself wanting to go beyond ourselves in order to help Rich obtain results for the goals he set. His goals were never selfish or self-serving, but always strove to serve others and he taught myself and others to do the same.

I now own a very successful business and employ the leadership skills he has taught to me. I am able to keep very loyal employees and have more serious and meaningful relationships at work and outside of the workplace than I had ever thought possible. Not only have I learned to lead at work through his example of servanthood, but I have also learned to live a peaceful, happy life through the journey Rich has set me on. I now send my leaders to be trained at seminars Rich holds in hopes that they may find the skills necessary for true leadership but also skills for a happy and peaceful life. I would recommend his training to anyone and would say everyone who gets a chance to learn from his tutelage will be truly enriched.”

“Rich LeBrun has the gifts and talent to challenge executives and individuals to unlock the door to change. He accomplishes this by leading people or organizations through a calculated process toward results-oriented goals. Rich asks key questions in the process and includes ethical and moral values. He is effective in his communications which leads to successful end results.

A few years ago, the board of Food For Friends was seeking a management consultant to accomplish the goal of developing and writing a mission and vision statement for our charity organization. Rich LeBrun was consulted to lead us through this process. He established a plan that included a few meetings with our board. Rich’s methodology of seeking the heartbeat of the board was both inspiring and compassionate. He asked thought-provoking questions, then listened and engaged. This led to the penetrating truths of what we believed in. The wisdom and sound principals taught by Rich LeBrun empowered our board to develop our core values of what we do and how we serve others. Rich worked hard to listen and bring out our passion of cause and put it to words. He was able to articulate, then encourage us, which fleshed out our passion to write our mission and vision statements. He taught us the principal value of preparing our “elevator story” so that in 30 seconds or less we can share our mission with a stranger.

Recently, our board consulted with Rich LeBrun to lead us through a recalibration of the mission and vision to ensure we are on track with our goals and take our organization to the next level.

Rich LeBrun’s vision and integrity will add great value to any individual or organization who seeks solutions and improvement.”

"The Leader's Place program focuses on the complete life cycle of leadership — from understanding the values that drive us as managers and as individuals through 'leading up' to those above us and giving away our leadership to those we mentor. The result is a greater understanding of how to inspire others while truly understanding our own leadership style and motivations. These are skills that transcend the workplace and inspire action in every facet of life."
