Time With God

When I spend time with God, something good always happens. It shows up in various ways:
A gentle peace comes over me
A feeling of restoration infuses my soul
A good thought
A nugget of wisdom
A material blessing that I can see and touch
A event avoided or created for my good
A relationship built
A relationship restored
A sense of awe of Your creation
A renewed appreciation of Your creation
A feeling of unexplainable joy
A feeling of affirmation
A deeper understanding of Your word
A feeling of strength to fight the battle of the day
A feeling of encouragement
A need sense of compassion toward others
An alignment of my heart and God’s
A clarity of mindA reason to go on
A desire for more people to know God
An increase in emotional, spiritual and physical strength
My path seems to smooth out ahead of me
When I keep my eyes upon Jesus, the ways of the world grow faint.
And when I don't spend time with God ... ?
