Fact or Fiction

Faith is not an emotion. Faith is based upon fact. Having faith from the center of truth causes an emotion of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and self-control.

It's not the opposite. It could not be, for our emotions are subject to many variables, like people, time, temperature, atmosphere or circumstance.

Whereas when we trust what is true about God as fact, we have the strength to weather the down emotions as well as enjoy the positive ones.

Facts that mankind has yet to disprove...

God is the creator

God performed miracles beyond our understanding

God loves us and always is with us

God is omnipresent

The Trinity is real

Jesus is the son of God

We will have eternal life with God

Jesus’s ways are always 100 percent the right choices

Lord we believe everything about you. We need to turn to you and rely on truth for our emotions carry us away from you or cause us to perceive you as if you are not present in our life until we beckon for you.

When we get to the crossroads of faith and emotion, we feel the incredible battle between desiring to take hold of what we know to be true fighting against doubt, which leaves us no comfort and fuels Satan's emotion called condemnation.

In that exact moment, in order for us to get to peace, we have to break through our desire for our emotion to be dealt with and take the step toward truth. As we take each step into truth, our emotion of doubt and condemnation begins to be exchanged for the peace, comfort and love of Christ.

We need to remember, recite and write the truths of God on our heart. Then our emotions will not fail us!Just a thought
