What leader would not want his followers to say these words of them? Jesus the greatest leader of all time, how does he do this?
By serving!
He did all that he teaches us to do
He is a loyal follower of God
He thinks about others
He serves
He protects
He loves
He cares
He guides
He comforts
He teaches
He is patient
He listens
He does not need to demand but rather commands
He does not need to pull rank but rather operates from humility
He doesn't need the corner office but rather desires to be with the people at the lowest level.
He does this even when was defied, cheated, taken advantage of, persecuted, chastised, ridiculed, mocked, gossiped about, hated, despised, lied to, undermined or hurt.
Servant leadership transforms hearts. Stay the course and your followers will be overcome by your grace. Who do you want to follow?
